What's new in the 2021/2022 NDIS Price Guide
Due to increases in the minimum wage and required superannuation payments, the base price for the help provided by support workers has increased by 2.95 per cent.
Accommodation price restrictions for specific disabilities have increased by 1.1 per cent based on the consumer price index.
The Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP) tariff has been cut from 6% to 4.5 per cent, as initially announced.
The group-based assistance transitional pricing arrangements have been extended until June 30, 2022.

COVID-19 vaccination and booster enablement payments for providers
From 17 January 2022, providers in the following registration groups can claim the COVID vaccine and booster enablement payments if they support a participant to receive their vaccinations.
Providers in the following registration categories can claim COVID vaccine and booster enablement fees starting January 17, 2022, if they help a participant get their vaccinations.
Providers must submit claims for payment by the following deadlines:
- By March 31, 2022, you must pay $150 for the COVID-19 vaccine.
- By June 30, 2022, you must pay $75 for a COVID-19 booster vaccine.
COVID-19 arrangements for meal preparation and delivery supports
disability services members can use Core funds to assist with meal preparation or buying from January 12 to February 28, 2022.
Participants in the disability services can use their Core Supports budget to pay for meal preparation and delivery by an outside provider.
Claiming for SIL cleaning services
Providers can directly claim cleaning services and other SIL support for participants from February 7, 2022.
Due to COVID-19, they have been told to self-isolate or quarantine by the relevant state/territory government or the Australian government.
- COVID-19 resulted in a one-time $300 deep cleaning service.
- If you are obliged to self-isolate due to COVID-19, you may be eligible for up to $1200 per participant per day in additional support.
Claiming related COVID diagnosis
If a support worker visits a participant’s home and later tests positive for COVID-19, providers can claim up to $300 per professional deep clean straight from the NDIA starting February 7, 2022.
The participant’s plan will cover any professional cleanings performed before February 7, 2022.
Instructions for claiming this support will be emailed directly to providers and posted on the disability services website. Please keep checking the payments and bills page for any new information.
